Eucon Group announces change in management

Eucon sharpens its international focus in the business unit Automotive and announces Björn Rietschel as new Managing Director of Eucon of North America LLC and of Eucon GmbH.

Norbert Dohmen, acting Managing Director Automotive at Eucon GmbH, will resign on August 30, 2017 at his own request. He is leaving the company on friendly terms in order to take on a new challenge outside of the group. As of September 1, 2017, Mr. Dohmen will be the new CEO of Intelligent Repair Solutions Holding GmbH. The founders and shareholders thank Mr. Dohmen for the successful development and advancement of the Automotive division in the last ten years and wish him the very best for his career.

Following Mr. Dohmen’s resignation, Sven Krüger, CEO of the Eucon Group, will take over the responsibilities until further notice. “We are of course happy for Mr. Dohmen and understand his decision, but naturally at the same time regret this development because as a person and managing director, he has made a huge contribution to the company’s success. His achievements played a substantial role in enabling Eucon’s Automotive division to be what it is today: a successful and dynamically growing company with a large number of clients and highly committed employees,” says Sven Krüger. What is more, Wolfgang Benz, who has been very successful in leading the U.S. subsidiary, will start his well-deserved retirement in the course of the year.

On July 1, 2017, Björn Rietschel will start his job as new Managing Director of Eucon of North America LLC and of Eucon GmbH. For many years, Mr. Rietschel was Managing Director of the Hella Gutmann Group and Sales Director of Hella KGaA. Mr. Rietschel will concentrate on the advancement of the internationalization strategy in North and South America as well as Asia.

Mr. Krüger wraps up the development as follows: “We are very pleased to have Björn Rietschel on board, an automotive expert with a proven track record in international markets. With his expertise in digital business models, he will add new chapters to the success story of Eucon’s Automotive business unit.”
