The early days: A market overview is needed
1995: In the mid-1990s, hardly any automotive workshop has an overview of the vast car parts market. Workshop employees have to spend a lot of time searching for parts in paper catalogs and over the phone. “There has to be an easier way”, figure brothers Maurice and Marcel Oosenbrugh. They create the first electronic car parts catalog.
1997: The two visionaries found Eucon Informationssysteme GmbH & Co. KG. At the time, 12,500 workshops throughout Germany already use their auto parts catalog.

New business areas: Our technologies can be adopted
2002: Insurance companies become aware of our business, recognizing the potential of using our structured data sets to review claims. As a result, we start our first conversations with clients in the insurance sector.
2006: The electronic auto parts catalog reaches the next level. Our digital platform PartsPool® replaces the CD-ROM version.
2008: We take a major step towards internationalization by founding the U.S.-based Eucon LLC (now Eucon Americas LLC) in Atlanta, Georgia. We want to be close to our customers worldwide, which is why further locations follow in Japan, Canada, China, Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and Australia, among others.

Expanding into new territory: Digital trailblazer for the automotive, insurance and real estate industries
2009: PartsPool® exceeds one billion pieces of market information for the first time. Our database is now available in 16 countries. Every year, around one billion data are added.
2013: Our team grows to 300 colleagues worldwide. Our employees in Germany move into our new headquarters in Münster. That’s where you’ll still find us today at Martin-Luther-King-Weg.
2015: We tap into another industry and apply our digitalization expertise to the real estate sector. Real estate companies are now able to use our SmartInvoice platform to digitally manage their incoming invoices. From now on, we are the digital trailblazer for the automotive, insurance and real estate industries.

Data-based innovation: Growth driven by technology and AI solutions
2017: With Claims Prediction, we develop our first solution for the insurance industry that is based on artificial intelligence. This solution allows insurers to automatically check claims. Inconspicuous documents can be processed directly in the background without the need for the claims handler to review the cases. This gives them more time to address more complex claims and the personal concerns of their customers.
2019: With the introduction of the Market Data Engine, we create a unique market intelligence platform. This big data solution combines our extensive collection of the most important product and market data on the automotive aftermarket with a range of analytics tools.
2021: We establish a strategic partnership with GiPA, an international provider of market information in the automotive aftermarket. The aim of the alliance is to pool the expertise and data of both companies across selected subject areas.

Expertise in process digitalization: Data products strengthen our market presence
2022: We celebrate our 25th anniversary! To mark the occasion, we expand our insurance unit to include the personal injury segment. Given the highly specific requirements in this area, there is a clear need for further digitalization to improve processes and recovery journeys in a data-driven way. With our many years of expertise in the process digitalization of claims management, we launch our first product, the digital declaration of consent and exemption from confidentiality.
Thanks to the myriad of processed invoices from the invoice management software in the real estate unit, we quickly realize that invoices contain valuable troves of data. That is why we expand our product portfolio to include data products, in order to edge closer to our vision of a data-driven real estate platform.

Our vision for the future: Great plans in store for our customers and partners
2023: Another international alliance is formed with the aftersales specialist Aurelis Consulting, headquartered in Warsaw. With our portfolio of data-based products and services, we are able to offer our customers innovative solutions along the entire value chain.
In the meantime, our team grows to more than 500 colleagues, supporting around 250 customers in 80 countries. In addition, our office in Mexico becomes our new subsidiary Eucon LATAM S. DE R.L. DE C.V. With this step, we are further developing the strategically important Latin American market.
2024: The Stibl expert office in Austria becomes part of the Eucon Group, growing our global workforce to over 600 employees and opening up the Austrian market for our insurance business for the first time.
We are the experts for data-driven decision making in the automotive, insurance and real estate industries. Together with our customers and partners, we are active across industries and create the basis for smart decisions based on data intelligence.
