On 26th June 2019, Eucon GmbH hosted its Automotive Aftermarket Symposium for the 15th time and welcomed more than 60 guests at the Factory Hotel in Münster. The annual customer event is aimed at local and international companies operating in the automotive aftermarket and has become firmly established as an industry event and networking opportunity. This year, the motto “Turn market data into smart data” formed the thematic framework for the symposium. In this context, the participants were given exclusive insights into the new PartsPool® version, which will be rolled out at the beginning of next year.
PartsPool® is one of the world’s most comprehensive spare parts databases in the automotive aftermarket. With this industry solution for efficient product management, Eucon supports automotive aftermarket businesses in identifying value creation potential and improving their competitiveness and processes. Eucon is currently in the process of completely modernizing PartsPool® in order to be able to satisfy the needs of its customers in the future as well.
“We used our Automotive Aftermarket Symposium to show customers and prospects the vision of our future product portfolio. In the last few months, we have already invested heavily into the further development of PartsPool®. Our guests received exclusive insights into the new user interface and the significantly improved PartsPool® features, which will be available from the beginning of next year. This is how we seek to include our customers and prospects at an early stage of the development process and demonstrate the advantages,” explains Osvaldo Celani, Managing Director of Eucon GmbH.
In addition to keynote speeches on the future Eucon product range and current aftermarket trends and the associated opportunities and potential for additional markets, the guests took part in interactive sessions on a variety of topics, such as new and innovative services for worldwide market observation and insights into different countries of the international aftermarket. “With the presence of our international Eucon experts from the United States, Japan and China, we were able to showcase our local market knowledge and global solutions and present ourselves as an international partner in the automotive aftermarket,” emphasizes Patrick Schulte-Loh, Head of Sales and Marketing at Eucon GmbH.
It is Eucon’s tradition to invite all participants of the Automotive Aftermarket Symposium to a kick-off event on the eve of the symposium. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary, this year’s get-together took place at the Eucon headquarters in Münster. In summer temperatures of around 35 degrees and with a rich BBQ buffet, guests were able to discuss various topics with each other and with Eucon employees in a relaxed atmosphere. A highlight was the exhibition of classic cars of different ages directly on the company premises. Eucon employees provided some of these treasures, underlining Eucon’s automotive passion while creating a beautiful setting.
