Acting together

Eucon supports the Peter Maffay foundation through the TEILEn e.V. charity association.

The focus of the Peter Maffay foundation is to provide protected areas for disadvantaged children with the aim of giving them more potential in their lives. The foundation, for example, offers traumatised children a chance to retreat where they can leave their usual home environment for a while. They can have a holiday in a completely different environment and are able to summon new strength there.

Maffay has made a finca available on the island of Majorca where children can experience nature on an intensive level. For many of them this is their first such experience, which is not possible in their normal daily life. Maffay would like to communicate values to these traumatised children in his facilities to enable them to have a new start in their life.

Under the motto "Acting together - our team supports disadvantaged children", the chairman of the TEILEn e.V. charity association, Franz-Werner Drees, announced an annual donation volume of 1 million euros. The Peter Maffay foundation needs this money to be able to look after a thousand children in the year.

"We fully support the project and are happy that as a new member of this initiative we can support the excellent work of Peter Maffay and actively help", says Norbert Dohmen, Managing Director of the Automotive division at Eucon.
