For the 13th time now, the Eucon Group is fulfilling the Christmas wishes of 150 children and young people from the St. Mauritz Children’s and Youth Welfare Center in Münster. This year, the digital pioneer is once again receiving support from the companies Bechtle, Vectron and adesso.
On the morning of December 19, the collaboration partners handed over the gifts to Michael Kaiser, Managing Director of the St. Mauritz Children’s and Youth Welfare Center. The wish list campaign ensures that the children and young people at St. Mauritz, who come from difficult backgrounds, receive a personal Christmas gift, such as toy kitchens, Lego sets or goalkeeper gloves.
“The Christmas campaign is very close to our hearts. Especially in these challenging times, it is even more important to show solidarity and actively support disadvantaged children and young people,” says Sven Krüger, CEO of the Eucon Group.
Starting in 2011, the St. Mauritz Children’s and Youth Welfare Center has been sending around 150 colorfully painted wish lists to the Eucon Group at Christmas time. Employees of the four Münster-based digital companies have then been fulfilling the wishes as part of the annual initiative. In addition, a picture gallery is available on the intranet for colleagues working from home, allowing them to select their wish list and make the wish of a child come true together with their family and friends.
”This campaign has definitely contributed to making the Christmas season special for the children and young people at St. Mauritz,” says Michael Kaiser, Managing Director of the St. Mauritz Children’s and Youth Welfare Center, expressing his gratitude to the participating companies and their dedicated employees for their ongoing support.
