Moaffak Assassa joined Eucon Group as CTO in October 2021 and looks back on more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. After graduating in computer science from the RWTH Aachen University, he initially worked for several years as a solution engineer in a system house and as a lead developer at a university spin-off, where he was involved with Java and .NET in an agile development environment, among other things. Eight years ago, he moved to a company of the Boston Consulting Group as an IT consultant, where he most recently successfully managed and completed strategic IT projects as a principal, e.g. for large insurance groups.
Commenting on the appointment, Sven Krüger, CEO of Eucon Group, says: “We are proud to have won Moaffak Assassa, a CTO with many years of experience in scaling first-class, agile teams. He will strengthen our ability to tap the opportunities of new technologies such as augmented intelligence, deep tech or data mesh platforms and further develop the IT organization with a view to Eucon’s dynamic growth.”
Moaffak Assassa returns the compliment: “The first 100 days at Eucon have been exciting for me. I have joined a dynamic and ambitious team that combines a passion for technology and trends, and I look forward to further driving the company’s international growth plans with a strong technology focus.”
